Roadmap
This page outlines the planned Phase 2 features for Travomate Cargo. Phase 1 covers the core marketplace: posting cargo, offering capacity, matching, and messaging. Phase 2 expands the platform with deeper tools for consolidation, quoting, and tracking.
Phase 2 Features
Container Sharing
Phase 2 will introduce structured container sharing: multiple businesses reserving specific portions of a single container on a shared route.
Example:
A 40ft container travelling from Shanghai → Gdańsk has 12 CBM of remaining capacity. Up to three businesses can each reserve a portion of that space at a shared rate.
This makes container shipping accessible to businesses with small but regular export volumes.
Freight Marketplace
Cargo owners will be able to:
- Request quotes from multiple capacity providers simultaneously
- Compare offers side by side: price, dates, transport type, provider rating
- Accept a proposal directly within the platform to confirm the booking
This removes the need for off-platform negotiation and creates a more transparent pricing environment.
Shipment Tracking
Bookings will have a real-time status visible to both parties:

Tracking updates can be provided by the capacity provider and will be visible to the cargo owner within the platform.
