Key Metrics
These are the primary metrics used to measure the health and growth of the Travomate Cargo platform.
Marketplace Activity
| Metric | What It Measures |
|---|---|
| Cargo listings created | Volume of demand posted by cargo owners |
| Capacity listings created | Volume of supply posted by providers |
| Matches generated | How effectively the platform connects supply and demand |
| Successful bookings | Matches that resulted in a confirmed shipment |
Business Performance
| Metric | What It Measures |
|---|---|
| Revenue generated | Total platform revenue (Phase 2 onwards) |
| Average container utilisation | How much of listed capacity is being filled |
| Repeat customers | Share of users who return to post or book again |
Why These Metrics Matter
- Listings created: measure whether the platform is attracting both sides of the market
- Matches generated: measure the quality and relevance of the matching engine
- Successful bookings: the north star: real shipments completed through the platform
- Container utilisation: the core efficiency metric; higher utilisation means less wasted capacity
- Repeat customers: the strongest signal of product-market fit; users coming back means the platform delivers value
Tracking in Phase 2
As Phase 2 introduces structured container sharing and quote workflows, additional funnel metrics (quote requests, conversion rates, time-to-booking) will be added.
